Amigos Costa del Silencio Activities

Amigos Costa del Silencio is trying to leave the tourists to make our activities meaningful and varied.

A long-term holiday of at least 90 days - over the winter months - in Tenerife, the "island of eternal spring ", is particularly ideal for the health and well-known because of the warm climate and low prices.

We place our focus on the following:

1. Learning the Spanish language in theory and practice in accordance with the teaching method of adult education in Germany.
   We use the newest book used in Germany of the Klett publishing house “Caminos neu A1”. The bases of the grammar are simply explained and repeated frequently. Particularly beginners are invited, because there is no knowledge required in advance.
   The center of our Spanish lessons is the goal of the communication with the locals, therefore we put large value on speaking and understanding. We try to achieve this goal by texts and CD's of the text book. The CD's of the text book “Camino” can be heard when desired in our computer area individually with headphone. Additionally there will be a chance to speak to the locals during the sessions.
   Spanish instruction is offered free of charge for tourist in Parque Carolina, which booked over Amigos Carolina.
    
2. Digital photography
   We offer the possibility that our guests learn to improve their self-made photos professionally, that these photos can be used later to create a photo DVD. It is then possible to add your own text. The DVD can be accompanied by backgournd music. This gives you the chance to show your created DVD later to friends and acquaintances on the TV screen. Own computers, with the well known photo-editing package Adobe Photo Shop Elements, are here in a special computer room.
    
3. Discussion circles
   The Amigos participants meet on request to the discussion circles. This gives the guests the chance to get contact with each other. The issues which are proposed by the participants themselves.
    
4. Further activities
   There are recreational activities offered in the circle of like-minded among them activities such as excursions, golf , diving, surfing, which, however, are organized by third parties, etc. with additional charges.
