Photo Teide Tour

From November 2010 we will organize at least once a month a Teide photo tour. Travel through the beautiful vulcanic landscape on the way passing the Teide Observatory to the Information Center. The price per person will be 31.00 € and lunch is included. You have the possibility to take many beautiful pictures, and to create your own personal photo DVD. This offer is only for Members of Amigos Carolina, that is for the holiday makers who have booked with us for Parque Carolina.

The improvement of Costa del Silencio as an existing residential area to a “Zona residencial de calidad turística”

The creation of "Costa del Silencio - Zona residencial de calidad turística" - is the common goal of: Ayuntamiento de Arona, Cabildo and the Canary Islands Government as explained in the assembly of February 2009 by the mayor of Arona himself. In particular we need to mention that the mayor and his deputy of Arona are very ambitious to achieve this aim  (See article below).

Assembly at the Culture Center of Las Galletas Feb. 2009

On the 19th of February 2009 a meeting took place at the Culture Center of Las Galletas, to which the mayor of Arona, José Alberto González Reverón had invited the residents of Costa del Silencio and Las Galletas. He was accompanied by the captain of the Guardia Civil Pedro Fernández and other leading staff of the Ayuntamiento of Arona. The focus of this meeting were of following topics:

• Security
  A new police station was built in Las Galletas. They pointed out, that they have decided to strengthen the security in this aerea in general and by adding a new daily police patrol in Costa del Silencio.
• Planned activities
  Planned activities in Arona till the end of this legislative period dealing with Costa del Silencio. The mayor of Arona gave a report of the most recent work, in particular the work to improve the infrastructure, which is almost finished. There is a roundabout to the main road to Las Galletas and the park Grañaña, for which alone 4 million euros are reserved.

  Furthermore activities are planed for improving the environment.

Amigos Costa del Silencio” is convinced of this concept and try to assist it that it becomes a reality, based particularly by the climate. We try to achieve this aim by our activities such as:

Formation of a circle for long-term holiday-makers in Costa del Silencio in the south of Tenerife

Now “Foto Amigos Teneriffa” decided to emphasize Costa del Silencio - a small place of the municipality of Arona - with a special website and to promote its characteristics as a residential zone.

Costa del Silencio is a typical residential area and is well suitable for long-term holiday-makers, who would wish particularly to spend the winter months here for the well-being of their health. The climate plays an important role. Details under the section climate.

The implementation to become an owner of an apartment is at present ideal despite the economic crisis. One must consider however that making such a "big decision" the information over the internet is just the first step to become acquainted with all the details. The ideal solution would be to spend the winter time in your own apartment or in a rented apartment for health reasons here in the south of Tenerife. We help you to find new perspectives in the groups of like minded.
